Just in time for those research assignments looming on the horizon, the library is offering 34 research workshops on nine topics from developing your topic to citing your paper. Check out the schedule below or pick up a copy in the library and come join these informative sessions.
The one-hour workshops are held Monday to Thursday at 1:00 and at 5:00, April 16 through May 16, in LR-224. All workshops include a hands-on component; for the citations workshop, you will need to bring in the sources you're using so that you can you can complete your Works Cited page by the end of the workshop.
If you want to learn about a topic but can't come at the scheduled time or day, round up three other students and schedule a workshop for your group. Just come over to the reference desk or call (562) 908-3484 for information and to make an appointment.
