Words+Images+Music at the Library, Nov. 2, 2017

The College library is usually a place of quiet study but tonight the library foyer was the site of an unusual celebration of Dia de los Muertos. The Workman Mill Industrial Orchestra started the festivities with its performance of Terry Riley's piece "In C." Students of the Creative Writing Club, the Photography classes, and the Electronic Music III class presented a concert and readings that delighted the audience.

Featured in the background was the library display "Day of the Dead," curated by adjunct librarian Karen Bourgaize.

Here are some pictures of the students setting up their instruments in the foyer, the library bridge, and across the atrium before the start of the show.
