A New Face at Reference

We are delighted to welcome our newest full-time librarian! Irene Truong joined the RHC librarian faculty at the start of the new school year. She earned her master's degree in information and library science from UCLA and has worked previously at the libraries in East Los Angeles College (ELAC), Pasadena City College (PCC), 20th Century Fox Research Library, and most recently in Marymount California University. Her undergraduate degree is from CSU-Long Beach where she majored in English  with a concentration in creative writing.

She has hit the ground running, already teaching several library instruction sessions in the first four weeks of the semester. Drop by the reference desk and say hello to Irene and the rest of your friendly reference librarians!
