The Library will be open for the following hours during Spring Intersession:

Mondays - Fridays, 8:00 - 8:30 am and then again from 11:00 - 2:00 pm.

Use the first half hour to print an assignment, make photocopies, check email, etc.

Classes run from 8:30 - 11:35 am, so check back after class to conduct research, speak to a librarian, check email (you know you will!).

Instructors: librarians will be on hand for orientations any time between 8:00 am and 2:00 pm. Just call x 3416 or 3417 to schedule an orientation. A couple day's notice is appreciated.

A new report from the Pew Hispanic Center has found that the "vast majority of undocumented migrants from Mexico were gainfully employed before they left for the United States, according to a Pew Hispanic Center report released today. The report suggests that failure to find work at home does not seem to be the primary reason that the estimated 6.3 million undocumented migrants from Mexico have come to the U.S. "
